My name is Elizabeth J. Caviness and I am an estate
planning and probate administration attorney. I have been helping
clients as an attorney with estate planning issues for over 15 years. I
am skilled and confident in my ability to resolve your issues. I have
professional experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an
international accounting firm and exposure to financial planning. My
past professions help me to better understand the estate planning issues
my clients face. My previous experience also allows me to provide
answers to questions and solutions to challenges in more detail than
most attorneys.
I
have worked on complex cases involving special needs trusts, business
succession, and estate planning. I have helped solidify long-term care
decisions, guardianship, and issues regarding life insurance. I have
the skills to help you. I am a sole practitioner, which allows me to
give my clients the personal attention they deserve.
As an experienced estate planning attorney, I understand that no estate plan is "one-size-fits-all." Every plan requires a tailored approach addressing the individual needs of the individual, their intentions and their loved ones. I will take the time to develop an estate plan that accommodates your unique intentions and your needs. With a wide variety of estate planning tools, I am able to put to use my knowledge and experience in wills, trusts, including revocable trusts and special needs trusts, as well as health care directives.
Our elder law practice addresses the unique needs of elderly individuals and couples as well as the families seeking to care for their aging loved ones. We are experienced in guardianship, Medicaid planning, and asset preservation for elderly persons to ensure financial security.
